Camtasia Studio Selected as Official Screencast Software of Microsoft's East Coast Ready Launch Tour 2005

TechSmith and Microsoft's East Region Developer Evangelism Team Sponsor Screencast Contest; Winner to be Flown to New York City to Demo Live on Stage

Okemos, Michigan - October 21, 2005 - TechSmith Corp., the world's leading provider of screen capture and recording solutions, today announced Camtasia Studio has been selected as the official screencasting software of Microsoft's East coast Ready Launch Tour 2005, which will promote the introduction of Visual Studio 2005, Visual Studio 2005 Team System, SQL Server 2005, and BizTalk Server 2006. The winner will be flown to the east coast kick-off event in New York City and demo on stage with Steven Guggenheimer, general manager of Application Platform and Development Marketing at Microsoft Corp.

Winners of the other local tour stops will receive backstage passes and rock-star treatment and their screencasts will be featured on Channel9.
