Camtasia Studio Upgrade Center

Upgrade to the latest version of Camtasia Studio from inside the software or using this form. To use this form, you'll need to know your license type and last version purchased.

Note: If you're running the free trial and have not yet purchased a license to Camtasia Studio, you can buy a license to the latest version.

How to Find the Last Version Purchased

To determine the last version of Camtasia Studio that you purchased, look in your reginfo.ini file. Here's how:

1. Click Start > Run. (On Vista, click Start > type "run" in the Start Search Box.)
2. Paste the following into the Run box: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\TechSmith
3. Open the folder Camtasia Studio x where x is the number of the latest version.
4. Click or double-click on the reginfo.ini file. It should open automatically in Notepad.
   
5. The last version you purchased is listed on a line titled "Version." Please note the version number (5.0.0, for example) and select it in the form above.

Upgrade within Camtasia Studio

To check for an upgrade from Camtasia Studio, select Help > Check for Upgrade from the main menu.
